Join us in celebrating National School Lunch week October 13-17. We will be celebrating with special daily menus and free giveaways daily with the purchase of a school lunch!

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank our incredible custodians!
Their countless hours of hard work, dedication, and care often happen behind the scenes, but their impact is felt in every hallway, classroom, and corner of our school. From keeping our spaces clean and safe, to helping with events, to stepping in wherever an extra hand is needed, our custodians make a difference every single day.
They are more than just staff members; they are part of the heart of our school community.
To our custodians: thank you for your endless contributions, your reliability, and your kindness. We are so grateful for everything you do to make our school shine!

In Art we have been working hard on expectations and responsible behavior so we can make the most of our 30 minute time together. Students have the opportunity to connect with Mrs. Ned in a way they would like by selecting HUG, HIGH-FIVE, or WIGGLE as they enter the art room. Expectations are posted to help provide visual reminders.
Art students are beginning a unit on the power of colored pencils.

We had a great Farmer's Market today at Jefferson Elementary. We served up Local Michigan Produce for the students to "buy" with their Veggie Bucks and take home with them to their families in their special Farmer's Market bags filled with information and recipes from today.
