Miss Conner’s class had a wonderful week learning about the history of the 99th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Students even became balloon designers and created their very own parade balloon!

2nd graders had the opportunity to attend the Adopt-a-Cop program in the gym! Students learned important safety lessons, including what to do if they ever get lost, how to respond in case of a fire, and how police bloodhound dogs help officers do their jobs. It was a fun and educational experience for everyone!
Jefferson Elementary kicked off its very first Popcorn Friday in the best way possible!
To celebrate both our first popcorn day of the year and the successful end of our first quarter, every student enjoyed a bag of popcorn—completely free!
