
McDonald's Owner/Operators throughout Michigan will be raising funds for 341 local high school athletic programs, including Coldwater and Quincy High, on October 3. During the High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day, 20 percent of all sales purchased through the McDonald’s app will be donated to local sports programs.
Each locally owned McDonald’s restaurant has chosen a high school in their community to donate 20 percent of all mobile app sales on October 3. Each identified high school will receive a minimum of $250.
This year marks the first time Michigan operators are hosting a High School Sports Digital Fundraiser.

CHS senior Evan Poradzisz has been named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist. Evan is one of only 16,000 students across the country that have been named as semifinalists. Evan will be competing for over 6,000 National Merit Scholarships worth over $25 million. Evan certainly personifies the National Merit Scholarship Corporation's goals of recognizing scholastic champions and encouraging the pursuit of academic excellence.


Tickets are on sale now at the Browne Aquatic Center for the annual Purple Week basket raffle hosted by CHS Swim & Dive. All funds raised during Purple Week stay in our local community. We currently have 25+ items available to win. Need not be present to win.
$1 per 1 ticket, $5 for arm length & $15 for body length. Tickets available at the Aquatic Center till 7 PM Thursday (9/19), 7 AM-3 PM Friday (9/20), and during the Coldwater Invitational swim meet Saturday (9/21) starting at 9 AM.

This week we welcome Jill Hardway to Coldwater Community Schools as our new principal at Max Larsen Elementary School. Jill has extensive experience in the elementary classroom as well as administration. She will be in the building starting Thursday (Sept 19th).

Due to excessive heat, Tuesday's JV volleyball quad at Bronson has been cancelled, with a madeup date to be determined later; Tuesday's girls golf jamboree hosted by Western has been postponed until Wednesday, September 18; and Tuesday's boys tennis match at Kalamazoo Central has been postponed until Wednesday, September 30.

Due to the heat index, Monday's boys soccer match at Plainwell has been cancelled.
