Janet Rucker, a graduating senior at Coldwater High School, has been named an Arts candidate for the prestigious U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Nominated by Michigan's Chief State School Officer for her outstanding artistic ability, she is among a select group of students considered for one of the nation's highest honors for high school seniors, with up to 20 students ultimately recognized in the Arts each year.
In addition to this incredible distinction, Janet is an active member of the National Art Honor Society, serves as President of the National Honor Society, is deeply involved in the CHS Theatre Program, and leads as Drum Major for the Coldwater Marching Band while also performing in Pep Band and Symphonic Band.
